Perennial development group specializes in build to rent single-family residential communities. Focused in the southeast perennial development group has communities from Tennessee through Florida and over to Alabama. For the past decade the team members at perennial development group have specialized in developing and building freestanding four and five bedroom student housing cottage neighborhoods across the United States. As a precursor to today’s build to rent single-family residential neighborhoods the team at perennial development group is uniquely poised to perform in this market.

Perennial Development Group works with a team that has been developing and building single-family residences for the past decade as a for-rent product. While the majority of past projects have been focused on student housing, our model is very similar to what the market now refers to as “build-to-rent single-family residence.”

As a vertically integrated builder-developer, we are able to take on anything from smaller sites and projects to larger multi-phase takedown sites. Our business model and deep track record of successful on-time and on-budget projects set us apart and allow us to deliver consistent results.

​

Our target market is:

  • 20 to 60-acre sites with 5-12 units per acre

  • Within 3 miles of a significant commercial retail corridor

  • Market rents over $1.40/sqft

Experience – Minimum 2 years

The position requires a high degree of energy, enthusiasm, real estate knowledge, and professionalism. The position will report to the CEO and Ex. VP of Acquisitions with a day-to-day interface with other team members. Substantial experience in deal procurement, multi-family development, land entitlement, broker engagement, and investment acumen. This position will be responsible for sourcing, assembling, and entitling land, building proformas and pitch decks, executing developments, and driving the regional efforts.
